ALIEN 2: ON EARTH (1979) Known as one of the best Italian gross out sci-fi films. This Alien rip-off begins when a space crew's ship returns to earth without its occupants. Blue rocks are scattered around a beach that contain Alien eggs. The eggs burst with face hugging aliens and take the form of those who are stupid enough to put their face in close range. In one scene, an alien pops from a girl's face and decapitates the next victim in line. A great addition to the genre. GET THIS TITLE presented with COLOR BOX ART here
ANTHROPOPHAGOUS (1980) Directed by Joe D'Amato. A couple take a boat to an abandoned island and find the terror that lurks there. The two scenes that have been cut from any American release are intact, one being the moment when the beast strangles a pregnant woman, reaches through her vaginal canal, and pulls the baby out for a light snack. THE BITE (1988) aka Curse II: The BIte. Radiation experiments create mutant snakes; their venom causes the victims to mutate into huge killer snakes. This film is worth it for the FXs during the mutation scenes.
CASTLE OF THE LIVING DEAD (1964) Starring Christopher Lee and Donald Sutherland. Count Drago preserves the dead with life, as mad creatures roam the dark corridors of his haunted castle. The atmosphere is chilling in this classic 60's horror flick.
DAWN OF THE DEAD GERMAN CUT German language w/ No Subtitles. The longest version of the film to date: 156 minutes.
DEVIL'S WEDDING NIGHT (1973) The story of Vlad the Impaler and Elizabeth Bathory join together for erotic schlock in this stylish, Italian horror film. Watching Rosalba Neri rise from a bath tub of gore may be worth the exploitative wait, and the giant bat actually freaked me out a bit. GET THIS TITLE presented with COLOR BOX ART here
DEVINE ENFORCER (1991) Jan-Michael VIncent, Jim Brown, and Erik Estrada, do I really need to continue? Anyway, a new priest in town needs to take down a wild vampire killer in this horrible horror.
EROTIC RIGHTS OF FRANKENSTEIN (1972) Directed by Jess Franco. This imaginative extrapolation of the great Universal monster is an excellent introduction to Jess Franco's trash cinema. The monster make-up is over the top and improvisation reigns through the acting. If you've been interested in tapping the Franco source, this is for you.
FRANKENSTEIN 2000 (1992) aka Return From Death/ Directed by Joe D'Amato. When a woman is beaten into a coma and saved from being raped by her handyman, the local security force does a cover-up to save the town's reputation and frames the savior. After he hangs himself, the woman's strange comatose psi-powers revive him from the dead to exact revenge.
FRANKENSTEIN ANIME This animated Japanese version of Frankenstein is for the fan of the story and vintage anime like Astro Boy and Vampire Hunter D. Of course the sense of magic and violence is enhanced in this version of Shelly's lost monster.
THE LAUGHING DEAD (1989) Rarely seen & UNRELEASED , UNCUT 92 MINUTE IMPORT print of the obscure 1989 living dead/zombie film from novelist SP Somtow. A priest is possessed by the spirit of an ancient Mayan demon at a Mexican festival of the dead & goes on a bloody , flesh eating rampage along with his army of the undead. Many splashy gore scenes & splattery zombie action . A good film which was never released in the US & other countries & includes cameos by Forrest J Ackerman & film critic Bill Warren.
MAGDELENA: POSSESSED BY THE DEVIL aka Devil's Female (1974) This German Exorcist rip-off is complete filth. A young blonde orphan becomes possessed by the devil and obscene blasphemy rules the girl's life.
THE MAGICIAN (1926) A mad alchemist needs a young virgin to continue his experiments in defeating death, so, naturally, he sends out his dwarf assistant to find the young sacrifice. This silent film was never received or released because of its controversial satanic tone; now, it has become a rare find among fantastic film collectors.
MONSTER DEMOLISHER (1962) A professor and a vampire hunter join forces to destroy the murderous vampire Nostradamus and his minions.
NIGHT OF THE SORCERORS (1973) Directed by Amando de Ossorio. A woman is decapitated in an esoteric African ritual (her severed head grows fangs); she becomes a leopard by day and a leopard bikini vampire by night. The zombie tribe rises from the dead years later--in full on Blind Dead style--to kill off the explorers and Spanish models. If you haven't figured it out, this crazed gem from the director of The Blind Dead series is too much for words, but it's just right for any fans of trash cinema.
NOSFERATU IN VENICE (1986) Starring Donald Pleasance and Klaus Kinski. This Italian production of a supposed sequel to Kinski's Nosferatu The Vampyre is not at all the crap it could be. Kinski is--again--perfect as the rat faced count, this time sporting platinum shoulder length hair.
THE RATS ARE COMING! THE WEREWOLVES ARE HERE! (1972) Directed by Andy Milligan. Set in 1899, this is about a woman and her new husband who arrive at the home of her crazy family of incestuous werewolves, ruled over by a 108 year-old patriarch. They keep her brother Malcolm locked up in a room where he commits graphic cruelty to chicken and mice. Legendary "Z" filmmaking by Milligan, this movie is truly hard-to-find.
THUNDER OF THE GIGANTIC SERPENT (1988) In this Korean production, a secret formula spills into the water and a giant snake rampages with a little girl as its controller and friend. A fun filled slaughter fest for the whole family.
VAMPIRE CIRCUS UNCUT (1972) A circus of Vampires pull the 19th century people's attention from the despairing plague. Children begin to disappear and a legendary massacre's secrets are revealed. GET THIS TITLE presented with COLOR BOX ART here
THE VIJ (1967) Russian w/ English Subtitles. A witch tricks a Priest into killing a young woman. The next day he is called to give the woman her last rights and the Priest is forced to stay in the same room with the girl's body overnight. Needless to say, the witch still has plans for the young Priest. This film is completely amazing. The effects and cinematography are a great addition to this wonderful Gogol story that's based on a Russian Folk Tale. A must see. GET THIS TITLE presented with COLOR BOX ART here
YOUNG DRACULA (1975) Directed by Lucio Fulci. A boorish, snobish toothpaste factory owner, Constantino Nicosia, gives his wife and everyone a hard time having let success and wealth go to his head. But after the superticous Nicosia has an encounter with an elderly gypsy aunt, and a business trip to Romania results in another encounter with a suave vampire, named Count Dragalescu, Nicosia returns with blood-sucking like qualities which makes him re-examine his life and existence. This goofy vampire comedy spoof of the story of Dracula is hilarious in many ways, one of which is the dub translation that completely distorts the jokes. Give it a try for a double layer of comedy.
ZOMBIE '90: EXTREME PESTILENCE (1991) If you like your gore, you get a mean helping of it in this garbage pail of filth. Intestines, chainsaws, and horrible effects make this film a classic of the genre. Hyper-gory, uber-cheesy SOV zombie flick from the Violent Shit guys with some seriously over the top splatter (witness a castration by garden shears, vaginal knifing, a ravenous zombie tears a baby in half, etc.). Hilarious dubbing by a couple of the producers friends make this one vastly entertaining with a short-case of yer fave suds. I'd give ya a plot synopsis, but, uh, there really isn't one to speak of: a doctor discovers zombies, execute cheesy, extreme gore and bad acting. Funny as hell though.
